زمینه: هوش معنوی به­عنوان زیر بنای باورهای فرد، نقش اساسی در زمینه­های مختلف زندگی انسان به ویژه تأمین و ارتقای سلامت روانی دارد.
هدف: این مطالعه با هدف تعیین ارتباط هوش معنوی با استرس ادراک شده در پرستاران بخش‌های مراقبت ویژه بیمارستان‌های دانشگاهی شهر قزوین انجام شد.
مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه توصیفی- تحلیلی بر روی 115 نفر از پرستاران بخش­ های ویژه که با روش نمونه‌گیری غیرتصادفی سهمیه‌ای انتخاب شدند، صورت گرفت. گردآوری داده­ ها با سه پرسش ­نامه اطلاعات جمعیت­ شناختی، هوش معنوی کینگ و استرس ادراک ‌شده کوهن انجام گردید. داده­ ها با روش رگرسیون خطی و تعیین ضریب همبستگی داده‌ها تجزیه و تحلیل شد.
یافته‌ها: در این مطالعه 13 مرد و 102 زن شرکت کردند. میانگین نمره استرس ادراک ‌شده و میانگین نمره هوش معنوی به­ ترتیب 5/96±25/7 و 14/35±50/28  بود که در سطح متوسط بودند. بین هوش معنوی و زیرمقیاس‌های آن با استرس ادراک‌ شده، ارتباط معکوس و معنی ­دار (با ضریب همبستگی 0/243-r=  و 0/009=P) وجود داشت. این مطالعه نشان داد که هوش معنوی و سطح تحصیلات می­ توانند به­ عنوان متغیرهای پیش‌بین برای استرس ادراک‌ شده در نظر گرفته شوند (0/001>P).
نتیجه‌گیری: با توجه به ارتباط معنادار هوش معنوی با میزان استرس ادراک ‌شده و نقش پیش­بینی­ کنندگی هوش معنوی، یکی از راه کارهای مؤثر در کاهش سطح استرس می­ تواند سوق دادن توجه پرستاران به ­سوی هوش معنوی و تلاش در جهت ارتقای آن باشد.
